Compound F2-P
Peroxide crosslinkable non-tracking compound for heat-shrinkable
tubings for indoor and outdoor applications up to 33 kV, to permit clearance
reduction, flashover protection against accidential bridging and prevention
of pollution flashover. The compound shows excellent weathering
and non-tracking properties.
Compound properties
Compound F2-P is a peroxide crosslinkable heat curable compound offering
excellent weathering and non-tracking properties. The carefully selected
combination of polymers, fillers, processing aids and additives makes
this non-tracking compound an excellent choice for the manufacturing of
heat-shrinkable tubings for straight and bent busbars and for use in terminations,
railway catenaries, high voltage switchgears , substations and fuse links.
The compound is easy processable and can be extruded on standard PE or
PVC screws having a 2:1 pressure ratio.

Packaging
The PTL F2-P compound is packed in PE-bags of 25 kg.
The compound should be stored below 30șC and protected from direct sunlight to achieve a
shelf life of 6 months.
Tubing properties
Heat-shrinkable tubing made of this compound will show superior non-tracking
characteristics combined with excellent erosion and UV-resistance resulting
in an exceptional long-term performance, confirming the material's reliability.
The flexibility of the tubings made of F2-P compound makes them an excellent
choice for straight and bent busbars, allowing them to be easily positioned.
The low shrink temperature will result in quick and easy installation.
