Compound A2-I

Radiation crosslinkable compound for very flexible, commercial, non flame retarded
general purpose thin wall heat-shrinkable tubing

Compound properties

Compound A2-I is radiation crosslinkable low cost, flexible compound, designed for the manufacturing of thin wall non-flame-retarded heat-shrinkable tubing for commercial purposes where flame-retardancy is not required.
The compound can be easily colored by adding standard color masterbatches based on PE or EVA.

Packaging

The PTL compound A2-I is packed in PE bags of 25 kg. A shelf life of 12 months can be achieved if stored stored below 30șC.

Tubing properties

Heat-shrinkable tubing made of this compound will show a continuous operating temperature of 125șC. The excellent heat-ageing properties allows the product to withstand 175șC for short periods. The tubing will shrink at temperatures above 90șC.
Tubing made of this non-blooming compound show excellent printability properties and are halogen- and cadmium free.
